Programs of the Club

Each month we have a program as the first part of our general membership meeting. Some times it is fun and interesting, but usually it is educational and informative. Example of recent programs include: a veterinary dental specialist; Pilot Dogs for the Blind demonstrating how leader dogs are trained (Poodles make excellent leader dogs); a demonstration at a lake site of Poodles who compete in retrieving trials; and a Red Cross certified instructor in dog emergency treatment. Often our programs are conducted by our own members, many of whom have years of experience with Poodles to share with members and guests.

The Greater Cincinnati Poodle Club meets the first Wednesday of each month. The time and place vary depending on the program or activity. For details, please contact Rita Datema at (859) 743-0219 or Joanne Steele at (513) 697-8585.

Our general membership meetings begin at 7:00 p.m. with a get together and refreshments. This is followed by our program after which we hold a business meeting.
